Celebrating Our Athletes

The Team Visa program is dedicated to providing long-term support to aspiring Canadian Olympians and Paralympians as they prepare for one of the greatest athletic challenges of their lives: competing at the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Team Visa athletes are provided with support in-between and during Olympic and Paralympic Games through direct financial support and access to world-class mentors. The role of the mentor is central to the Team Visa program and helps differentiate it from other Olympic and Paralympic sponsorship programs. The opportunity for amateur athletes to learn from and be inspired by Olympic and Paralympic veterans is invaluable.

Having competed in previous Olympic and Paralympic Games, Team Visa mentors are uniquely qualified to answer complex questions, such as how Olympic and Paralympic hopefuls should mentally prepare for the Games, if their lives will change should they win a medal, and what they need to do to be their best.
